Whats the best Gym or training advice you ever heard ?

I never had a trainer and don't work out in the gym. I guess for me it's just to push yourself. Sometimes when running I set a visual goal ahead of me, even if I don't run my entire route I see objects ahead of me and say "run to at least that spot", walk it a bit after if you need to, then pick it back up and run to the next visual point. It might be a tree or a street sign, etc.
*edit, I agree about the ego. I felt very self conscience when I started running. I always wondered if I look stupid doing it. LOL
But now I don't care.0 -
