Branapple Crisp

I got this recipe off of a cereal box, tried it today, and HAD to post it for you all!

3 apples, sliced thin
2 tsp lemon juice
1.5 cups raisin bran
1/3 cup sugar
1/3 cup flour
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/2 tsp nutmeg
1/4 cup unsalted butter

Combine apple slices and lemon juice, put in greased 8x8 pan. Mix cereal, sugar, flour, cinnamon, and nutmeg. Slowly add in melted butter and mix - it will be pretty dry and clumpy - like pie crust almost. Cover the apples completely. Bake at 375 for about 25 minutes - apples will be soft and cereal mix will be browning slightly.

It doesn't really stay together like a pie, but who cares?! It's sooo good!

In 1/8 of the pan:

Fat: 6 g
Protein: 1 g
Fiber: 3 g
Sodium: 67 mg

I'm sure it'd be just as good with regular bran flakes (without raisins) - and probably fewer calories. I think pears would be good too!
