    Are they going somewhere for their honeymoon? If so, you can pay for an activity or event that they'd enjoy in the place they are going. This is what we did for a co-worker, and him and his wife loved it.

    a personal chef! There are all kinds. They will do a weeks worth of meals or a special dinner. It is great because it gives the gift of time back to the couple, does not expire and is specific to the couple. So they decide what they want cooked.

    A gift certificate to a night or two at a romantic Bed and Breakfast in the area?

    I agree with this one or a nice hotel even. Also tickets to a good play, musical, etc on broadway even.
