fitness rut- ideas

Hello MFPers! Happy Friday!

So I just completed Insanity which I enjoyed (but didn't have that amazing of results) and feel aimless now. I am not a good runner but I have been doing some jogging and while I can stick to a plan very well I am not very good at doing my own free weight kind of routine. I kinda tried some Turbofire but it is dancy and that was not a good fit for me; I ended up being frustrated and barely exercising trying to figure out what the H I am was supposed to be doing:) So I was thinking of starting Insanity again on Mon. but since my results were mediocre I am not particularly motivated to do so.

Background info- perhaps my diet should be cleaner and affected my results- I guess I will try entering all my food into MFP ( I don't enjoy that and previously ended up eating more thinking about what I should be eating and entering all the time)- but I will try it. I am in pretty good shape- I am 4'11 and weigh about 115. I would like to keep toning up and have a little fat to loose still. I don't care about weight really just need to get my BF% down a little further.

Thanks so much for any ideas- I very much appreciate it! I love exercise so it feels frustrating to feel unmotivated and aimless about it.

I am in the same place. I have about 9 more workouts and I'm done with insanity and I have no idea what I'm going to do next. I was thinking of starting some running and some more lifting. I was going to get some heavier weights (10, 12, 15 lb) and mix up my running with some strength training. but i need to identify exactly how i want to lift. so this will be interesting... also going to keep doing push up sets every day to get better with that and build upper body strength. I don't want to start another DVD program I don't think for a few weeks if not a month. just want to feel a little bit of freedom.

for the rut... get back to doing what you enjoy BECAUSE you enjoy it. Stop training and get back to having fun.

for the less than amazing results... make sure your diet is right.
