I have been pretty consistent for over two weeks. I run 2-3 miles at least 3 or 4 times a week. I also work out with a trainer once a week. I drink a lot of water and stay away from soda, white flour and sugar. I dont understand, I am really heavy enough that I should be losing weight relatively quickly. I'm not trying to lose the last 10 lbs here. My diary is viewable, am I maybe eating too much or eating the wrong foods? I just don't understand.

I am definatly not an expert--but at a quick glance I might try lowering the amount of carbs you are eating. You seem to be going over on carbs everyday--i think I about 100 carbs/day. I would up the veggies, definately eat fruit but not more than 2/day for sugars...I eat more protein than you do-my diary is public too so feel free to peek....I would try to up your protein and lower your carbs--give it two weeks and see what happens.

    good luck!
  • Personally i think you're probably eating a bit too much. You only have 55lbs to lose, so u arent huge, but r getting near 2000 calories on some days. I would put a cap on your calories of about 1600 regardless of whether or not u exercised that day.

visit fat2fitradio.com. there is a calorie calculator so you can verify that you are on target for the right amount of calories each day.based on your activity level. I find the podcasts helpful and inspirational too.

I agree with Agirard25, you should aim for more protein. Especially since you are starting to work with a trainer (assuming you are doing strength training). How much strength training are you doing on your own?

Definitely get your fruits and veggies in to fill up your plate and to give your body proper nutrients.

Feel free to add me if you would like!
