Pulled Chest Muscle and Running?

Okay, first of all I think it's a little ridiculous that I run just about every day, do Pilates, yoga, archery and any other physical activity that comes my way and am fine. I have ONE little coughing fit last night and wake up this morning to find that I strained a muscle in my chest. From coughing.
Anyway, I was wondering if it'd be okay if I still did my long run tomorrow, even with the pulled muscle. The pain isn't bad unless I twist either way, etc. The thing I'm worried about is deep breathing hurts as well. Perhaps I should try and start out slow for my run and stop if it hurts? I just don't want to hurt it more, but I also need to train for a 15K coming up, and cant afford to miss any more long runs!
Advice!!! (P.S. my long run I'm supposed to do tomorrow is 7.5 miles)
