I've had a rough week keeping on track. I just got back from a mini vacation and I think my mind is still there. I do well for the day but go way over board at night time.

I WILL START AGAIN TOMORROW. If I don't then I've lost and I'm not going to lose this battle....not this time.

Anyone else having this sort of problem..........getting back on is hard....but I have to keep going.

Yes, absolutely, but why wait until tomorrow? Once you realize you have gone over board, reboot now!

My life was full of tomorrows until it clicked here at MFP.

    Today is tomorrow yesterday. :flowerforyou:

I was in the same boat as you. Got back from vacation last week and i kept cheating late at night. Finally one night after binging on m&m's, i called it quits put all the stuff away and have been good ever since. It is almost like you have to flip that switch and you need to do it now.

Keep yourself busy, go for a walk or do something that keeps you occupied and away from the food.

I have had a rough week too. My husband is in the hospital. I have been at school at work and at the hosptial and only at home to sleep for the past 5 days. Last time he was in the hospital, in April, I let it totally derail me. I ate McDonalds for every meal, there is a McDonalds in the Hospital. I gained 4 pounds in a week and did not go back to eating healthfully for another month. It cost me most of the weight that I had lost. This time I have stayed within my allowed calorie intake . I have eaten at McDonalds a few times, but I still stayed within my calories. I packed healthy snacks and drank lots of water. I am proud that I didn't let the stress of the situation sabotage me again.

A little off topic here but why the he11 would they put a McDondalds in the HOSPITAL!?! Like they're trying to make more money in the coronary bypass department or something?

That was my thought too! What kind of hospital does that? That's just wrong.

I'm saying that as someone who LOVES McDonalds (but stays far far away these days), but a place like McDonalds just doesn't belong in a place that should be devoted to health, ykwim?
