Lost 5... gained 3...

I'm going to give you the opposite advice of everyone else in this thread! I think you should try weighing yourself every day and keeping a record of it. I keep a record of my daily weight in Excel and then graph it and add a trendline. There are days when I have "gained" 3 pounds and days when I have "lost" 3 pounds, the important thing is, the overall trend (after 10 weeks now) is down. I think if you only weigh yourself occasionally, and you pick a "bad" day, it can be very discouraging. At least, that's how it's been for me. But that graph keeps me going even when my weight goes up by several pounds, since I know it will just come down again.0

Maybe you aren't eating enough calories?0

maricash: oooo excel and trendlines - I'm in weight tracking heaven!! I'm still going to stick with not weighing myself until bootcamp is over... but I like that idea and it makes perfect sense.
Kristine: I'm averaging 1600 a day - and eating my exercise calories - the thought of eating more than that scares me0
