Today is a special day for me. I'm sure we all have that one day that changed us. Weather that was the day you finally said "I have had it" and started your journey to health, or the day you ended a bad relationship. I'm not talking birthdays or anniversaries here. This is a bout that one day that means something to just you.
As for me, today is the day I grew up to be a man. I know that sounds corny but I was working a job in Agriculture for a boss I didn't like putting in abuot 80-100 hours per week. Wife and baby boy at home. And May 25th I quit that job. I had no job lined up or any prospects. I had bills, debt, mortgage. I put my faith in God. The next day I was mowing lawns and parks. After that I went and sold insurance for a few months to pay the bills. 2 months after I quit, I got a job at a great company that paid twice what I was making when I quit. Normal Hours too. I would never have gotten to where I am today had I not gone through all that BS. And I wouldn't appreciate what and Who (wifey) I have in my Life.
It was the hardest thing I have ever had to do, and the best thing!!!!

I don't have just one. There are so many.
A few:
The day I walked away from my childhood sexual abuser and cut him from my life.
The day I realized hitting my daughter was not the way to discipline her (hard to break the cycle but I did it).
Each time one of my children entered my life (1 girl, 2 boys).
The day I walked away from my abusive family.
The day I realized my husband would always (read ALWAYS) be there for me.
The day my son, born with birth defects, received the all clear and didn't need any more surgery.
So many others, too. All make me smile, and you know, most were turning points.
"That which does not kill us makes us stronger or breaks us like the reed in the wind."
I'm no reed.
Cheers to you for finding your happiness!!0
