How can I feel good........about losing 30 pounds when some of you have lost over 100???![ ](https://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/resources/emoji/angry.png)

Seriously folks, this is rediculous. I mean no pills, no surgery, no gimmicks........just eat better and exercise more and you can lose a hundred pounds??
Y'all are running marathons, and doing level 19 on the elliptical, and going to Zumba 3 times a week and working to Turbo Jam everyday......all because you believed in yourselves and took 1 day at a time.
I am so proud of every POUND lost on this website. (if you had sx-I applaud that you are here looking to eat healthier for the rest of your life!!)
This is the best group of people I have ever known. Passing on your wisdom, scolded when needed, loving when appropriate. Accepting each other and our differences.
So go on with your bad self.............let me know what you did today to change your life.
A good exercise or recipe is nice for those of us struggling (ummmm that would be ALL of us, right??)
MFP friends and extended family, have a GREAT day!!

Jeannie... look at what you have accomplished! It may not be 100 lbs but it was huge to you.
I started this one step at a time. First it was some small changes in diet and exercising more. The diet changes became bigger and the exercise more intense. I am at a point in my life where I really can't see me going back to the old ways.
My daughter and I went to an Italian restaurant last night. There was all kinds of pastas and things that really tempted me but I knew I wanted dessert so I had a salad with chicken on it, dressing on the side and a glass of water. The old Vicky would have had the Alfredo pasta, garlic bread, and the dessert washed down with a couple of glasses of wine.
This morning, I was eager to go to the gym to work off the dessert. When I left the gym, I realized I felt amazing, really primed to start my day. Feeling great is the best motivator of all. The healthier I get, the better I feel and so I just want to get healthier!0 -
