I am 29 years old, 5'3 and 145lbs (GW130). I measue 36, 33, 38. I HATE my middle but I am happy with every thing else. I normally weigh about 130 but I gained about 15lbs last year. I have three children and I lost all my pregnancy weight after each one,( I guess I just got lazy when I gained weight this year). The problem is that even when I lost weight after my kids it always came from my butt and I don't want that to happen again. I really want my measurments to be more like 36,28,38....how can I lose 5 inches from my stomach without loseing my butt? I have been doing 30-60 minuets of cardio 5x a week.

Short answer, u can't. U can't chose where ur body loses the fat from, u just have to create the deficit and see what happens!0

make sure to include strength training in your workouts...my butt looks better with muscle doing lunges, squats, deadlifts....I have the same issues...and I haven't been able to strenght train in weeks due to an injury and my butt is getting flatter and flatter as I lose more and more muscle.0
