Ever been to a Miner Dunn? Now that's Burger-vana... :drinker:

nope, don't have one f those either! I prefer the hand made, whole leaf lettuce, no puberty ridden kid involved type of burger when I have one.

My wife's from Gary Indiana area, we get up a couple times a year. Miner-Dunn is a local thing, 1/2 dozen stores. Hand made, good beef, excellent buns/cheese/toppings,,, just good good good.

Puberty ridden kids need love (and $) too ya' know...

Soooo... Maxie, Maxie, Maxie.... I had to take my son to the chiropractor today, his appt. was at 11:15. Then, I went to the tanner. Then we went to the bookstore, and before you know it, it's 12:45 and we're starving. So, I asked what he wanted, and since there's a taco bell next to the mall, he picked that. I was going to wait until I got home to make an omelet for lunch, but somebody's food review started ticking through my head as I'm waiting in the line.

I took your advice and only got the burrito. It was... meh... Kind of a smokey flavor to the burrito. Too much something runny (either cheese or sour cream), it exploded out the side as I was trying to eat it. Not as delish as you made it sound, that's for sure... But, since I was starving, it filled a hole in my belly.

Now to wait an hour, then go run it off:laugh: :laugh:

:laugh: i think as long as it has grease and fat max will give it 2 thumbs up tho...and thats why we all him...because he's not afraid to eat stuff that we normally run away from...personally i run away because all that grease well runs right to my bottom lol

((BTW - tasted the new "boneless chicken wings" Wendy's is advertising hell out of. Here's the deal,,, It's a different nugget - more breasty/wingy meat, tempura style breading. Deep fried in the same glop as the fries and nuggets. Then they drop 'em in the styro-box and squeeze on the pretty decent sauce of your choice - put the lid on the styrobox and shake. It was Ok... but hardly worth the 520 calories / 58 fat grams. Serving was generous, 9 pieces. I give it 1 thumb up - I'd rather have real wings w/bones. Just something satisfying about gnawing on a bone.)).

LOL When DH and I do burgers, we go for the Hardee's Thickburgers. I say if you're gonna be bad, be bad with style... And get it all out of your system at once.

Of course, after getting the burgers from Hardees, I hit McD's for their fries, and a stop at Beef-a-Roo for an order of onion rings, and a stop at the ice cream store for a root beer cooler (blended float--like a shake).

All out of the system at once... lol

My hubby got this the other weekend. I didn't try it. But he said it wasn't as good as he expected. Not enough cheese or bacon in his. I guess it depends on who makes it???? :ohwell: Ive noticed one item at the same restaurant chain will sometimes taste better at one store than the other. :smokin: Depends on who's working and if they know how to correctly apply the ingredients. :bigsmile: Looks good to me. But I try to be good MOST of the time :glasses: I may have to get one and just eat the middle then give the two ends to the homeless guys on the side of the road :drinker: :bigsmile: And then do like an hour of TaeBo just to make myself FEEL or THINK it was ok :laugh:

Someone else tried this burrito today but won't come out in public and admit it. :grumble:

I wanted to Max....soley based your review!!!!! DH brought me lunch today since he's off and he brought me the new Mc D's Angus Burger....I haven't went to check to nutritional value, but the mushroom swiss was ewwy gooey and drippy gooooood.

My boyfriend got this one day and I was eating my taco and all of a sudden I tasted bacon (I didn't realize this cheesy bacon thing existed)....I was like am I crazy or does my taco taste like bacon? One of his bacon bits got in mine.:laugh:

Maybe? It's a 1/3 lb burger with mayo and ketchup, lettuce, tomatoes and onions. Oh, and cheese. Can't forget the cheese. It's just so big and yummity. And drippy. And messy...
