Does anyone have a Total Gym?

Does anyone have 1 of these?

There's 1 that someone is selling on my local buy and sell and I was just looking for some reviews from those that have one. Are they a waste of money, good investment if you can't get to a gym, a good work out, etc.? Any reviews/opinions would be great, thanks!

I have a total trainer. Wife and I both like the workout we get.
I thought at first it was not going to be a good workout but figured it was great for my living arrangements.
I was sore and could fold it up put in corner.0 -
The 1 that's for sale is the Total Gym 1500. I'm not sure if there is a foot board on it or what ll comes with it. Maybe I should ask.0

I prefer The Gazelle. Look at Tony go!!!!0

I have an older total gym and love it. I can't do pull ups and that gives me a cheat way to do them but still increase intensity. Dont laugh - but I tried the gazell - and I didn't like it.
I use my total gym to help me do p90x routines. Plus when people come over, they like to play around on it.

I have one - when I started exercising when I was younger, I over did it and ended up herniated discs in my back - be careful and watch your form if you get it.0

Is this machine a decent alternative for weight/strength training? I would like to start doing more weight/strength training but can't afford weights or a gym right now and I can pick this machine up for a pretty good price but I want to make sure it's a good alternative. I also have limited space for a bunch of equipment and this machine folds up. Some more opinions/advice on this machine would be great
