Supplements Yes or NO

I am just wondering what everyone thinks of supplements in addition to a healthy diet and exercise program? I am not talking about diet pills with crazy amounts of caffeine, I mean herbal supplements like Acai berry, Kelp, things like that which I have read help boost weight loss. Do these work, would anyone recommend any of them to help boost weight loss or not so much?
