How hard would you work....

if you wanted to get results like some of the awesome before/afters where people start out with about 30lbs or so to lose and look awesome and toned in 3-4 months?!? I know everyone wants fast results, everyones body is different, etc etc. I am one to put in 100% when I want something and I feel like I am working super hard.....but I'm not sure. My ultimate goal is about 30lbs and I want to have lost all that within 3 months at the most. After my second son I lost the same 30lbs in 2 months....so I know I can do it. I also want to tone up etc, which I didn't focus on as much last time. I see these awesome pictures and think.....were they spending HOURS in the gym?? I can't do that since I have 4 little ones at home including nearly 3 month old twins. I am running 3 miles every morning and doing RI30 at night, 6 days a week. Will I see good results at the end of the month or should I be doing MORE. Some days I feel exhausted and others I feel lazy, like I should have done an extra workout. I am also eating really well.....doing WW and haven't went over my points once and am eating a lot of vegetables, some fruits, and making healthy choices. I am eating a lot (40 points) since I'm nursing the babies exclusively. I am weighing tomorrow and as of yesterday I'd already lost 4lbs for the week!

I'm a slow one. I've lost just over 1lb per month so far, and that's perfect for me. I'm always impressed seeing people who lose lots of weight in a shorter amount of time, but ultimately my goal is to be healthy, consistent and practical - for me, that means not spending hours every day exercising, not being perfect with my eating, just working on my health and fitness at a pace I can maintain. If I can maintain my lifestyle, I'll maintain the weight when I reach my goal.0

I don't care how long it takes me to see results. It's taken me about a year to lose 17 lbs, and I'm not disappointed at all.
If I want to lose weight faster, I certainly can, but I am only willing to do what I am willing to maintain. I'm sure I can look gorgeous by the end of the summer, but I'd gain it back by Thanksgiving. I like the slow approach. I work out, and I try to eat right, but I'm certainly not pushing myself to my limits. I'd rather be fat than hungry and exhausted, if you know what I mean.
I just want to be a healthy weight 10, 20, and 30 years from now so that I don't get diabetes. I am not interested in looking good in a swimsuit for summer or for posing for pictures. I just want to be healthy, and I'm getting there!0 -
You are my hero for nursing the twins exclusively!
Wow that sounds like a great plan actually. I think you'll reach your goal quickly for sure. How many cals is 40 points? It actually sounds low for the amount of excercise you're doing... especially considering the nursing which I liken to running a marathon every night anyway.
That is a beautiful pic it makes me want to have twins right now lol. Good luck!!0 -
I have added it up twice and once i had like 1700 and yesterday was like 1850. So I'm guessing that's about average. I have earned 77 activity points this week plus my 49 weekly points....i haven't used any. A few days I've had 1 or 2 points left. 40 points is just a lot for me, especially when I'm so busy! My older boys always need a drink or snack so I always come last!
I am SUPER happy, this morning I got on the scale and was 148.6lbs.....exactly a 4lb loss from my starting day of last Sunday.....tomorrow is weigh day, but I couldn't resist. :-) My belly is obviously flatter to. My milk supply seems fine....so unless there is an issue with milk or not losing I'm just going to keep doing what I'm doing!0
