Does anyone know how meat marinades will affect the overall nutritional value of meat?
I know the chicken i eat has around X calories, but does the marinade add Y calories, any help is appreciated!
I cant find information on this anywhere on the internet either.

Look on the bottle of the marinade you are using. It should give you the nutritional info.
If you are using oil, honey etc, measure it and count it, however if you are using spices only , I wouldn't bother to take it into consideration (with the exclusion of salt you may want to consider that) .:flowerforyou:0 -
That's a really good question because how do you know how much is absorbed into the meat? Maybe to be on the safe side use the nutrition lable of the marinade and add one serving of the calories to your log?
Great question. I never considered that before.0 -
This is what I do. I just add one serving with the knowledge that it's probably over what i'm actually consuming0
