I let stress get to me, then summer!

I have crashed. Bad!! The stress of our busy season got to me, but I survived without gaining a bunch of weight - just was bouncing around between 197 and 200. Normal flexuation for me. Now summer. I can't believe I was antsy all spring for the nice summer mornings to go jog by the lake and I haven't been doing it!! I have this problem in summer. I think I'm still a kid or something!! I want to stay up late and sleep in and screw around. :grumble:
So. I updated my ticker to my current weight. :noway: Since last weekend I have been at 203. So, I am going to mend my ways. I started the Couch to 5 K in July and was supposed to be finishing it next week, but I am going to start it again Monday. I made it through 3 weeks and then created my own week 3A to bridge the big gap between 3 and 4. I made it half way through that, then stopped. I am going to try again and see if I can finish it this time. I also am going to log every bite of food I take - starting tomorrow. I am way over today, haven't logged it all, but will go swimming with the dh and kiddos tonight and walk also. I have come so far, I refuse to give up. I've lost 100 lbs and have no intention of going back to what I was - pic in profile. The one with the cream colored sweater - that was about 15 or 20 lbs less than my highest. Near as I can figure I was about 295 or 300 in that picture.
So this is my commitment to myself. I have tomorrow off, so I will work some activity in - bike ride with dd, walk/jog in a.m., swim etc. Baby girl has kindergarten check up tomorrow, so will make sure everything goes well there. I will start up my morning exercise again - I felt so good when I was doing that!!! I will start logging everything I put into my mouth. Everything. *deep breath* Here I go! Wish me well, and if I'm not posting, that means I'm not doing what I should be. Nag me, will ya;??

I did it. I went and logged everything I ate today. :sick: We had a barbecue at work today - steak. I didn't have much steak, 'cuz the boss got breakfast burritos at 9:30. On top of breakfast. :sick: If I swim for 1 hour with the kiddos and walk for 45 minutes tonight, I have 1 calorie for today!! I will be over, but it's o.k. I will eat healthy for dinner. I will log it. I will do better from now on!0

Keep up the amazing work! I hear where you're coming from, it's SOOO hard to stay motivated esp in the summer! I stick with the healthy thing for a while, then go back to my old ways, and make excuses like, "It's summer," or "it's a party!" There's always some excuse. But I guess just keep trying. I love this website, it makes me so much more accountable! Good luck!0

Keep up the amazing work! I hear where you're coming from, it's SOOO hard to stay motivated esp in the summer! I stick with the healthy thing for a while, then go back to my old ways, and make excuses like, "It's summer," or "it's a party!" There's always some excuse. But I guess just keep trying. I love this website, it makes me so much more accountable! Good luck!
And what gets me - fresh fruit and veges are what summer is all about. Where did the cookies, cake, bbq sauce and crap sneak in??? *shakes head* *smack* I could 'a had a V-8! :laugh:
