I'm not sure how many MGP users, who use a Fitbit are aware of this, so I'd like to let everyone know. I do this and I think it's a great way to help others, just by doing what you were doing anyway! In case you don't already, you can link your Fitbit account with earndit.com. They keep track of the times you exercise and reward you for it. The rewards can be entries into sweepstakes, %off coupons from different retailers or my favorite, Donate your earned points to charity. You can have them earn clean water for people in Haiti, school time for a girls in Kenya, livestock donated through the Hereford Project, healthcare, polio vaccines and even Care packages for our U.S. Troops!

I don't get social over there or join in any of the challenges, I just earn my points to donate. You can see the charities we can support by clicking the Redeem tab at the top and choose "Giving". I hope everyone will consider doing this. We have so much to be thankful for and so many in this world have so little. Thanks and have a wonderful weekend!

Awesome! I guess I should proof read my post next time. No editing capabilities here and I said MFG users, when I meant MFP. I guess y'all got it though! lol

Thanks Steffie for posting this. I just learned of this option recently and I'm so excited to be exercising for a great charity.

Let's all spread the word. This is a great use of Fitbit minutes!

[the graph in your ticker cracked me up!]

So I have a fitbit and just joined Earnedit... trying it out... but can anyone tell me personally, if they have ever won anything? Or how to donate? I see there is a tangocard challenge and I was about to join, but then saw that the fine print said, "winner is responsible for any taxes"... so technically, you still have to pay...

    Hmmm... hesitant.
