1/2 cup of long-grain, uncooked, white rice is 105 calories. When cooked, it becomes 1 cup of rice, which is 205 calories. So, which caloric amount do I enter in my food diary?

I think it goes by the uncooked weight... water doesn't add calories and that's just what happens when you cook it, the rice absorbs the water. What is the brand and name of it, can see if I can find it online and see what it says on the package.0

1/2 cup of uncooked rice = 105 calories
water = 0 calories
Total calories after cooked = 105 calories
Cooking doesn't create calories. Calories remain the same as the ingredients put into it0 -
Do google search, but the general idea seems to be go with cooked0
