Jogging Stroller problems

I have the Baby Trend Navigator (double jogger with 4 wheels). I've been running for 2 months now 3-5 miles a pop, but I find my jogger to be VERY awkward. Sometimes I try to push the kids as far as I can and let go of the stroller, then catch up to them lol My lower back has been really messed up and I'm wondering if it's from using the jogger. I really dislike treadmills and I honestly wouldn't run if that was my only option...Am I doing some sort of damage using the jogger and pushing about 110 lbs total for that far? I already have back problems (lower spinal degeneration), not sure if it's just adding extra stress or what.

I can't quite answer your question, but I do know that pushing a stroller in general (not a jogger, just an umbrella) has done a number on my lower back, and especially my husbands (He has spondylolisthesis). For us, the problem is the handles are too low, so you're basically reaching DOWN to push the stroller. Does it feel that way for you?

LOL definitely not too short for me. The handles go to about nipple height...if we're getting technical. I'm only 5'0, I think it might be too big for me :/ BOO!

    Hi there..;)

I came across your post and wanted to let you know what we had. Our jogging stroller was the Jeep Overland which worked very well.

Most strollers of this type will have some bulk so it would be tough to get around that but we were happy.

I ended up researching quite a few strollers over time so I created a website to give some of the info out to anyone who is interested.

Hope you find something that works for you..;)
