Running Shoe Question

I've been running in Saucony Hurricane 14s for a few months. I was fitted for them in a running shoe store. I know that I overpronate and need shoes with stability support.

I found Mizuno Inspire 7s online and bought them. I ran in them this morning, and as far as I can tell they feel great! I ended up in the running shoe store today with one of my friends and I mentioned to one of the employees that I bought the Inspires and asked how they related to the Hurricanes. She said they are pretty different and the Hurricanes have considerably more support.

My question is: did I make a mistake buying the Inspires? I was super excited after my run this morning with them. I like how they're firmer than my Saucony's and I like that the heel feels more supportive. But now I'm wondering if I did the right thing since the Inspires don't have as much support.

I know I'm overanalyzing the crap out of this, but I'd like some insight from you guys. I found the Nirvana 7s online at a good price. I considered buying them since they have more support, but I don't want to if I don't need to.

Saucony all the way for me! They have amazing support. I haven't ran in anything else since I was 15

I really like my hurricanes, but they feel a little too soft.

I think it's hard to tell if you like a shoe or not from one run. I'd try it for a week, two, or even three weeks and see how you feel. My current shoes I HATED for the first week (foot tingling/falling asleep/numbness during my runs) but two weeks into it, they became my favorite shoes. I just had to learn how to tie them not too tight for me.
These shoes may feel great for you for a few runs, but over time may or may not provide the support you need/want. Most specialty running shoe stores offer a great return policy for this very reason.
