Pain! (Rant and whining, sorry)

Argh!! I wanted to start exercising more because I really thought that it would help me feel better. I am always in some sort of pain, and have been since I was 15 years old. It used to be headaches. While I still get headaches, it has moved to other parts of my body, and i frequently get tedonitis in my shoulders and severe pain from my IT Band. I was hoping that exercise would help. But I can't exercise when it seems like something else hurts even more. First, something happened to my back, to where I couldn't walk upright and was in a lot of pain (not sure how it happened, could have been my 50lb son jumping on my back).. once that got better, I went back to my C25K workouts and after a week, my ankles have been in severe pain. I keep hoping that walking will make them ebtter, I'm trying to focus on walking properly (I overpronate) and haven't been running, even though I want to) but its just not going away, and I want to exercise! I know its not from "overtraining" as I wasn't overdoing any sort of exercise.
I am grateful to have fully functioning body parts, please don't get me wrong, but I could just REALLY use like a week with no pain, for the first time in 12-13 years.
Thanks for reading. I'm not giving up, but i'm frustrated to keep having setbacks.

Here's to wishing you the best in your journey... have you tried biking and strength training? Biking would give you the cardiovascular fitness and fat burn you need, and strength training may help with some of the painful joints. In my completely unprofessional opinion, a little bit of Yoga might be just what the doctor ordered as well. Good luck!0
