15 lbs gone...but how far do I take it?

I'm down to about 223 lbs or so from 255 (though I only really started counting since 238 lbs) and would like to get myself down to 215 or so to be more content...but then...I look at what I'm 'supposed' to weight for my age, gender, and body type (large), and it seems that according to some criteria I should be at about 180!!
WTF...is that for real? Now...at my skinniest when I was working out lifting weights, etc., in 1987 or so, I weighed in at about 180 lbs. A lean thing, but I'm not sure that weighing 180 is really going to be much healthier for me than if I weighed 200--which is where I think I should be.
I'm confident I'll continue to move toward my goal, but I'm just not sure where to stop!

some of these bmi and weight guidelines are absolutely ridiculous
One site told me i should weigh around 11 stone, now if i did i would look ill and gaunt :noway:
google the dukan diet and on there enter your statistics it told me my ideal weight would be 141/2 stone which i think is a more realistic figure :bigsmile:0
