When you burn calories do you burn the micros too?

Like...say you've eaten 500 calories and in those was 20 gms of fat. If you go to the gym and burn 500 calories off are you also burning the fat gms off?

I'm not really concerned about it, just curious.

And before you get your panties in a twist, obviously if you burned off all the calories you ate you need to eat more.

There are no dumb questions! I don't know if you burn them, but when you exercise it increases your allowance of fat, carbs and protein (with the calorie increase) to keep your ratio the same.

I've noticed the only thing that doesn't increase is sugar. But I never pay attention to sugar anyway. I'm always over my sugar from fruit.

You need to remember your body works as a single machine.

Your body will burn glycogen and fat for energy. Im not sure on the exact process but you will deplete your glcogen stores, and all your other power systems.
Then your body will replace it.

Sugar carbs complex cards are all pretty much sugars and get turned into glycogen the fastest, then fats get converted but less effeciently then protein can be turned into glycogen aswell but tis more complex and less effecient.

So yeah you pretty much burn everything
create a deficit of energy and your body will work to replace it. So exercise times meal time ect have zero effect on the system
