10lbs in 6 weeks challenge. 8th July 2012

Howdy myfitnesspals!

I've set myself the challenge of losing 10lbs in 6 weeks. Starting from today, i'm weighing myself every Sunday and on the 8th July 2012 I hope to have reached 148lbs. (i'll then be going on to do another couple of challenges, but one at a time!)

Myself and ikiness are doing the challenge, but i wonder if any others would like to join and make it a bit of a competition? A bit of competitiveness always helps me!

    I'd love to be in! I first thought it was 10 pounds in a months and wondered how you were going to do hat, 6 weeks is better!

    Any tips? I've lost 7 pounds in a month....but need some tips! I have no idea if I'm doing anything right! And I HATE to exercise. I'm doing it a few times a week, but HATE it!

    Count me in! I weigh in tomorrow and I'm hoping to see two lbs. down from last week, which will put me at 8 lbs. down from April 30. (My weigh-ins are first thing Monday mornings, stark naked, after using the bathroom, but before showering, so I'll post my starting weight in the morning.)

    I'm starting at 14st 13.4lbs (209.4lbs).

    10lbs loss would be absolutely great. This is the push I need!

    How this will work...
    Each Sunday i'll post a challenge update status, i'll post my loss (because it will be a loss!) and i'll ask you for yours - stick with it!

    Count me in. I just weighed in today at 213, 10 lbs by 7/8 would be great. I had originally hoped to be at or under 200 by 4th of July but that may be a little unrealistic. This sounds like a reasonable challenge. Thanks for the idea and I look forward to working with a team of movitated people!!!

    I'm in! Currently 162 and 5' 4". Goal weight is 150 so this will put me right there.

    Excellent! I've added everyone up to here i think.

    Just thinking, if i collect in everyones email addresses, i could make some fancy spreadsheet to show everyones losses - might be easier to manage a bit of competition!
