I know there are many threads on this but this is more to find out what has helped people personally in getting out of a plateau.
I managed to lose 20lbs but now I've been stuck at 160lbs for almost 2 months.

Last weekend I had a cheat day which turned into a full on binge, hoping this would maybe trick my body into losing again but it hasn't. I weighed myself everyday and this week my weight's fluctuated from 156-163. Today I weighed dead on 160.

I've read loads of threads saying different things such as: there's no such thing as a plateau, cheat days, eating at maintenance..

I'm so confused..and a little desperate..what has worked for those of you who've plateaud?

Thank you~

Hi! I hit a plateau for five weeks...I found out after a lot of research and finding the group on here Eat More to Weigh Less that I was under eating. Search the group and there is an article right on the first page there about plateau that has a wealth of information. You have to know your TDEE and eat at a deficit of it. You won't be sorry you looked it up!

Getting serious about my weight lifting again. I realized I've been skating, instead of trying my flat danged hardest. I was phoning in my workouts when I got around to doing them.
