Serving Size

How many of you have lost weight just by eating the serving size of your meals, snacks, etc?

I invested in a food scale. It helps A LOT. That prevents me from guesstimating :) I always try to do the exact serving size. If I have enough calories, heck yeah I'll double

Do you mean eating the same foods but smaller portion sizes?

I have made some food choice changes, but yeah portion size does count for a lot.

Kinda!!! I mean like ice cream, sugar cereals, stuff like that. I get super intense cravings when TOM comes so those are my saving graces.

As long as they fit within your calorie goals go for it. Otherwise find suitable alternatives. Greek yogurt is really good and low cal. I really like the Fiber One brownies; very tasty and only 90 cal.

I did the same, what an eye-opener! So worth it. Because I set my calories at my goal weight it is really importnat for me to learn how I should be eating every step of the way.

Did you know a serving of Wheat Thins is only 7 crackers....I thought it was a 1/3 box...LOL

I still eat the same foods I love, if that's what you mean, and just practice portion control. Some things I definitely have more than 1 serving of.

I was shocked when I started by how "small" a serving was compared to what I was eating. Once I started just getting a serving, then the weight came off a lot easier. Most of mine I think is upping my exercise, and watching serving size.
