Taking it seriously this time

I've tried several times in the past to get in better shape, but something always comes up - ruptured disks in my neck, a move, a new job, breaking up with a GF... there always seems to be an excuse, doesn't there?

Well, I'm trying it again, and this time I'm going to try and force myself to take it more seriously and avoid letting the excuses overcome my progress. I've been on MFP off and on since Feb, and I've made a bit of progress but I know I can do better - and encouragement always helps.

I'd really enjoy a making a couple of good friends to help motivate me - the kind that will message encouragement, message a "where've you been?", share ideas for new ways to keep it fresh... basically people interested in being more of a friend and less of a cheerleader if that makes any sense. Don't care about age, or weight or distance, I just want a few real friends to help encourage me with more then just a "Good job on the workout" every other day.

    Hi!

While I'm not at my all-time highest weight, I'm heavier than when I was 9mos pregnant. NOT GOOD. I've got more excuses than I've got fingers and toes to count them on. The latest interruption was finishing the basement to build (among other things), ironically, a workout room.

...so... Here's to moving forward and No More Excuses. We can do this.
