Does anyone else experience their weight loss fluctuate a lot, even through my routine stays the same and I am always within calories one week I will lose 2 or 3 lbs and another week half a pound, any idea why this is?!

most people see weight variations of +/- 2 pounds during a day - the water content of the body isn't tightly controlled.
Scales can also wander around a bit.
If you weigh progress over a month the little wobbles won't confuse the overall trend.0 -
I'll say water.
I retain 1-2 lbs if I take an advil, eat anything with yeast, have sore muscles, don't get enough sleep, eat salty food.... If I'm not well hydrated those have bigger impacts.
I also find sometimes when I'm losing weight I hold onto water and then randomly drop the weight. I weigh myself everyday so it is really weird to drop 2 lbs overnight and not have done anything different.0 -
