When my husband and I go out to eat I always go online and look up the menu and nutritional facts at that restaurant so I know what my options are. So many dishes are soooooo caloric so if I can't find anything that's in my calorie range already then I go ahead and order something that I could box half of it and take it home to eat the next day. That way if the dish is 1000 calories then I only eat 500 of them during that meal. There are apps for your phone that have tons of restaurants, but if the one you want isn't on the list chances are you can go the the restaurant website to get nutritional info. Hope that helps!0

Vacations are meant to be enjoyed. You can still be diligent, but don't beat yourself up over it. What I do for vacation (one coming up on Disney Cruise) is I still exercise hard and my DW and I always split entrees.
