So I went on a date tonight - first one in a long time, and especially exciting since it is the first one since I moved to a new state. Went out for mexican - his pick, not mine, and I thought I was being so good, only had a few chips and salsa and ordered fish tacos. I was surprised (although I know I should have asked how they were prepared when I was ordering) to find them breaded and fried when my plate arrived. there when the healthy on that plate. Fortunately, I had them leave off the sauce, which I am sure was a mayo base and also loaded with calories. Also, I ordered a beer (need to relax a little on a date and allow the conversation to flow) and I shared his fried ice cream for dessert (kind of romantic to share a dessert, I think). I am just happy I made it to the gym earlier today for 45 minutes of cardio. I hope tomorrow will be better. I'm going camping with a group from work and will only have control over what I eat if I bring it with me. I am going to try to bring boca burgers and yogurt/fiber one cereal for breakfast. Hopefully I can hit the gym tomorrow before the trip and again on Sunday. I've just had such a hard time being good with the diet this week. I feel like my new job and going to the gym just makes me an eatin machine - it's all I want to do!

i tell ya it is so hard to keep up the diet when you first start dating, keep it up! the guy should understand and let him know you like eating healthy.
