I did day one yesterday and I havent been this sore in a loooong time...

What is a 5X5 workout?0

i found it on here but basically its 5 reps and 5 sets of bench press, squats, barbell rows, overhead presses, and deadlifts. its all compound excercises so its a total body workout...0

The key is that your only doing 3 lifts a day, 3 days a week. 5x5 squats followed by either 5x5 bench press and 5x5 pendlay rows or 5x5 standing over head press and 1x5 deadlift0 -

The first couple of times are a real bear! But recovery becomes much quicker once you get into the routine.0 -
