Hello Everyone,

I am new here, I joined yesterday evening. I started dieting about a month ago and begin exercising regularly about two weeks ago. Since I began dieting I lost 8 pounds. I went from eating about 1700 calories a day to about 1200 calories a day and at first it was really hard, now I don't feel as hungry. I kept a food journal and was excited to see that I could do it all on this website instead of writing the calories down in a book. I am setting a goal of 2 pounds a week and I hope to loose 30 pounds by November.

My name is Tamara. I have been dieting and exercising for 4 weeks. I want to lose 30 kgs. I am following a combination of the Blood Type Diet and Low GI as I have Insulin resistance and PCOS.
I have hardly noticed a difference so I thought I would jump online and try an online gym and start recording calories through MFP.
I like the idea of people trying for a goal that other like minded people can encourage them to acheive. Aside from getting healthy, our fertility specialist has said losing 25+kgs will help our IVF efforts.
    Good luck everyone!
