Pre-Work out meal

I want to go to the gym tomorrow after work but I'm usually pretty hungry by the time I get off. I need ideas on things that I can eat before I work out that won't be too heavy on my stomach. I'm only going to do 30 minutes or so of cardio. Any input will be appreciated.

    You don't have to eat anything if you don't want to. A protein shake or a banana or something like that is pretty light if you really wanted to eat something

    I usually workout in the mornings but since you're going after work and might have eaten a little earlier in the day, you could do something similar to what I do. I don't like to do a intense workout with a full stomach or anything too heavy. So I usually have a protien shake to get me going, something with a fair amount of carbs and protien in it to hold me over and I save the full meal for afterwards.

    It doesn't work for everyone, but for me I've found it to be good. Otherwise I start to feel queasy while working out, which is never a good thing ^_^
