My mom& step dad have one & they love it! my mom has been raving about it since she got it. she's always telling me how many calories she burned whatever day & such!
& I've recently been looking them up as well. I'm going to buy one, its just a matter of WHEN!!!
it may not be as accurate as a heart-rate monitor (& I only mention this because its what concerns some people) when it comes to estimating how many calories burned. I like that it can link up with MFP!! I use MFP every day so that is something I was pretty excited about. I don't do very intense work outs (I run, walk, hike or zumba) so it seemed like a perfect fit for me. The one I'm looking at also has a sleep tracker which interests me because I don't sleep well.... I've read several reviews on them & it just depends on what you're looking for.I hope this helped!

I just got one Friday. So far I'm lovin it. Let's me know why I'm so tired all the time, my sleep habits suck. I have it synced to MFP and it adjust as necessary.0

It's weird- I was just going to post and ask the same question. I'm glad to know folks that have them like them. I'm going to buy one as a reward for jumping back on the wagon, I think.
Ps. If you own an iPhone, there is also a sleep monitoring app for it that is creepily accurate. It uses the same concept as the fitbit (using the accelerometer to measure all your tossings and turnings in the night) and it has worked beautifully for me. However, it doesn't work unless you sleep alone- which I do these days. Ah well.0 -

I have one and love it! Perfect for what I was looking for!
Before I got the Fitbit, I had purchased a HRM. It was a decent one but I absolutely HATED it. Hated the watch thing-y, the chest strap, everything about it. Was way too complicated. Fitbit is perfect. Does exactly what I need it do and clips right to my belt, pants, bra, etc.0 -
I have one. I love it. It definitely keeps you motivated. You want to keep seeing the numbers go up. I now take the stairs everyday at work.0

I bought a Fitbit One Tracker and I think it's awesome. Works great for tracking daily activities, not just my workout at the gym. My job is pretty labor intensive, and this gave me a way to track that activity. It syncs seamlessly with MyFitnessPal. Seriously recommend it to folks that are committed to a lifestyle of trimming down!0
