I just downloaded the MFP app and am happy that the website has a forum as well.

I just started to get back into a fitness routine about 3-4 weeks ago and only recently had the courage to step on the scale. I'm 5'2 and am weighing in at 175 lbs which is the heaviest I've ever been. I put on 15 lbs in a year and a half. I think I eat well but I do have a portion control problem and a snacking problem. I've been making healthy choices but have not lost a single pound yet! It's hard to stay motivated when the number on the scale isn't moving. But I am noticing a change in my body from the exercising and am definitely gaining muscle. My ultimate goal is to lose 50 lbs but in the short term my goal is to lose 15 so I can return to my pre-marriage weight.
