Gluten Free tasty recipe for with Quinoa

Oatmeal is higher GI than Quinoa, and I am gluten free as much as possible, so here is a recipe for y'all. Try not to think of it as an alternative to oats, the taste is different.
1/4 cup whole quinoa
1 cup no-fat milk
1/4 cup of sultanas
Cook all ingredients on stove until it comes to the boil then simmer for about 15 minutes, stirring regularly with the lid off. I crush a banana in the bottom of my breakfast bowl and pour the cooked contents ontop.
A nice alternative to the sultanas is to cook 1/2 cup of blueberries and a small apple. You can also add sprinkle of cinnamon or vanilla. If you really need a sweetner add a teaspoon of pure honey, non of that processed stuff.

That sounds yummy. I haven't thought about using Quinoa as a "sweet" food, we use it as our "starch" about half the time.0
