Need a little advice since I'm new at this.

Okay I really need some help folks. I'm glad I'md doing this but I'm having a hard time trying to figure out my eating patterns.

I'm a third shifter so yeah need a little help here. Before I go home to bed I have breakfast. I make it low in calories because I will be going to bed in a couple hours. I wake up I have lunch. Then I have a snack a few hours later. Then dinner, Then I got to work and a few hours later I have a snack then Breakfast then to bed. I'm not sure I'm doing this right.

When I add it all up I'm giving myself 6 meals a day. I've been told thats what I need to do. I'm just like is it okay to eat breakfast 3 hours before I go home to bed?

I'm so new I haven't dieted or anything and really want to shed the pounds.
