Oops I did it again - semi rant..

What normal person scoffs 4 packets of crisp before leaving the kitchen, being described as "grabbing the door frame trying to breathe" then returns to the sofa to watch Spring Watch like nothing's happened.. I wish I could be sick right now.. I sometimes wish I would eat enough to make myself sick.. I would have probably had a 5th packet if someone hadn't intervened..

I can't stop the binges.. :( I feel so ashamed..

It's all or nothing with me.. I either starve or eat everything under the sun.. I'm sorry this is just a rant u don't have to reply just needed to vent..

I either eat almost totally clean, or go on couple day long eating benders, and I would sure be happy if all I had had today was a 4 bags of crisps, lol. I have had a combination of chocolate shortbread, oat cookies, white chocolate cookies, a double chocolate muffin, millionaires shortbread and ice cream in the early hours. It isn't a good thing, but fortunately I am at the very bottom of a healthy BMI for my height and it doesn't happen really regularly, usually just at a certain point in the month. But I also have a bit of bulimia, so yeah. The rest of the time, I eat pretty healthy, and avoid too much refined sugar. I imagine a fair few people around the world get days where they eat 4 packets of crisps, or a whole packet of biscuits. It doesn't seem that unusual from having talked to people and browsed around the net. Just that most tend to not do it everyday, so I guess it balances out.

Yeah...so this sounds kind of like an eating disorder. You might want to seek out a professional diagnosis.

The obvious solution seems to be not having 4 bags of crisps in the house.

Hi MinkyMoo. I'm a compulsive overeater and potato chips (crisps) are one of my main trigger foods. I don't keep them in the house, otherwise I would go through a big bag in a single sitting.

Thanks.. I didn't just have 4 packets of crisps i had a lot more but didn't list everything that was a snap shot of what had happened..

The obvious thing is to not keep crisps in the house and usually we don't because this happens.. The problem is not keeping crisps the problem is binging.. If it's not crisps it's bread.. if it's not bread it's something else..
