huge legs

Hi folks :-)

I'm looking for some advice about legs.

I have huge chunky tree trunk legs does anyone have any advice on how I can slim them down?

The exercises I do are walking, cycling and due to do a marathon in the next few wks.

I know they will slim the more I lose weight but how can I focus on them or exercises specifically to tone my legs

    I'm in exactly the same boat as you when it comes to legs. I've been working my *kitten* off in toning them up - still a fair bit of fat in them, but been feeling nice tough muscle in them recently.
    I work out on the wii fit and my routine has been a mix of muscle and yoga workouts. The best moves you can do for toning your legs are lunges and squats - add side lunges to tone your inner thigh muscles. From the yoga perspective (if you do yoga) - the warrior pose, the sun salutation, the chair pose and the spine extension. These are all the names from Wii Fit Plus so I'm not sure if they have different names elsewhere, but I'm sure if you google them, you'll be able to find them.

    Lunges and squats are definitely the way to go when it comes to legs though.

    Zumba and Jillian Michaels DVD's. And a tiny bit of jogging. My inner thighs are still jiggly. Hopefully that will go away some in the next 15-20lbs! :)

    Thanks girls! Iv done 20days of Jillian Michaels but have stopped for the last 2wks before the marathon. Also do zumba once a week so hopefully ill notice a change soon!!!
