Hey gang,

So my mum has Crohn's disease. this is a chronic ulceration and inflammation of the lining of the gastrointestinal tract and causes debilitating life altering symptoms, as I have witnessed first hand through my mum being hospitalised several times over the last 18 months on several different medications and having multiple surgeries to try and correct it.
A petition has been set up in the UK for this issue to be debated in the House of Commons. Crohns IS a disability and needs to be recognised officially as such! If this petition receives 100,000 signatures by Feb 2013 then it will go to debate.
So please, please, please sign up! And make sure your husbands, wives, mums, dads and everyone else signs too - this is a matter of utmost importance to me, my family and to Crohns and Ulcerative Colitis sufferers throughout the UK!

Thank you all so much,

Sarah.

    Bump!
I've seen first hand how hard it is for sufferers and their families. It will only take a minute to do, but can really change lives!
