Marion Nestle has a new book out, Why Calories Count. I've read a couple of her previous works and found them very informative. I'm about halfway through the new book and am already learning so much. What I most appreciate is her scientic (but not overly technical) approach to providing factual information about calories and how our bodies use them. This is not a diet book, but rather basic information on how calories are used and expended by our bodies.
