High Protein, Low Fat?

Hi Everyone- I am trying to adhere to my TDEE (-15%) but I am having trouble. When I try to eat my protein goal, I exceed my fat goal. I am hopeless at meeting my fat, calorie AND protein goal. My food diary is public. Any suggestions? Thanks!

That ground beef certainly isn't helping. 27% fat? Yuck. I always buy 93/7 or 99/1. Also, there are a lot of lean proteins out there that will help you reach your protein goal without going over your fat goal.
Tilapia
Chicken breasts
Ground turkey
Egg whites
Fat free plain Greek yogurt
Fat free cottage cheese
Salmon (though this is a fattier fish than tilapia, it has GOOD omega-3's)0 -
I think your fat intake looks reasonable even on days you exceed your target.0

that ground beef is rough...........get leaner...........will save alot of calories too, 90-93% lean
egg whites vs, whole would save some fat.
dont see any chicken breast on there.............that is usually a staple of the low fat high protein diet0 -
Like everyone else already said, Eat LEAN meat. Another tip would be to modify your percentages --> Decrease carbs, increase fat.0

I agree with this. As Sidesteal said, even on days you are going over, your fats are not excessive. The mix of your carbs and fats seems disproportional. I'd bring down carbs and bring up fats.0 -
You're eating a lot og high fat foods...ground beef, bacon and peanut butter. Stick to the low fat peanut butter, drop the bacon and ground beef. Switch to leaner option...turkey bacon, ground turkey or chicken. Or just leaner cuts of the sme options. And try only one high fat option a day.0

I agree. You don't want to go too low on fats either.
Other suggestions in this thread (lean meats, fish, shellfish, etc.) are also good low fat and high protein foods.0 -
a big hump i had to get through is accepting fats in to my life.. the right ones though... beef fat is not good for you , neither is bacon fat. anything that is solid when its cold is bad fat. imagine a straw filled with fat that solidifies when its cold..the straw being your blood vessel. not a good visual
coconut oil, olive oil, flax seed , fish oil ... nuts ,are all good fats for example. try buying boneless skinless chicken breast , ground turkey for your burgers and turkey bacon for your bacon if you must have bacon. add some of the other oils mentioned during your cooking or take flax oil or other omega three pills if you dont want to put oils in your food. the good oils actually help reduce cholesterol and belly fat0
