Tbsp to thumb tip??

Hi, I tried looking this up but different sources have different answers so correct me if I'm wrong please but.....

1cup = closed fist
1teaspoon = finger tip
1tbsp = thumb tip (to joint knuckle)


Some places say its THREE thumb tips to a tbsp, and 1 thumb to a teaspoon.

Thanks. Hope its 1 thumb to a tbsp otherwise I haven't been hitting my goal
