has anyone ever had separated abs?

story time- i went to the doctor today and she pointed out that my upper abs have somehow become separated, im not even sure how this is possible. has this happened to anyone else or heard of it? i looked it up and apparently it only happens when your pregnant and your stomach expands, this is not my case at all.
