Body Dysmorphia

I never considered myself to be a sufferer of body dysmorphia...I have read the Wikipedia article, and I don't think I qualify. I am happy most of the time; except when I have a bad day, then I look in the mirror, feeling disgusting and telling myself that I'll always be this fat. I am really trying to be healthy. However, it feels like with the more weight I lose, the worse I feel about the way I look. I think it's mostly frustration that I lack the hardcore dedication that would get me to where I truly want to be...and in my body, I see my failure. I do work out 5-6 days a week, running, doing yoga or strength training. And I try to eat enough vegetables and drink enough water. I have lost 9 lbs in two months. I know these things are successes. I just don't see them in my body. All I see when I look, on days that I feel that I've failed, is my stomach and thighs, and I feel terrible about myself. So all this has me wondering if I am body dysmorphic...I definitely think I'm at least too emotionally tied to my body and food. I had some eating issues in college...but I never saw anyone about it and I don't consider it a problem anymore. And I really do love who I am on the inside, and I'm proud of myself for exercising so much...I just wish I felt that way about the outside on these days.
Does anyone know anything more about body dysmorphia

If you spend too much time researching things on the Interwebz, you can start to believe just about anything.
Very few people have the time and disipline to achieve perfect bodies, and the media makes it seem like everyone is beautiful and perfect, and able to juggle life and working out and eating perfectly. In reality no one does.
Relax, you have the same occasional insecurites as the rest of us.0
