Hi MFP
I had a stupid little accident and ripped off my big toe nail ( v painful !! )
After seeing the nurse I can't get it wet, so no swimming at the moment , I also am unable to get a
trainer on my foot . Hoping I should be able to by next week .
Any advice of what I can do other then sit ups . I would like to add I have the pain threshold of a ant

OUCH that sounds so painful!!! Have you thought about pilates. I have found a great FREE online class. Go on youtube and type in POP Pilates it's a girl called cassy and she is awesome - give the Total bangin body workout a go you'll be sweating!!! It goes for about 25 mins I did that when my foot my really sore too.
Hope your on the mend soon :-)

Maybe a rowing machine. I haven't used one, but i think it would just work your upper body. Somebody please correct me if that is wrong.0

Boxing workouts online.. you can do just upper body if it hurts your foot. Lots of exercise videos on there to check out0

That could work - your feet are fixed into the feet holder thingies - but you would need to be able to wear something to cushion the straps at the top as they get pressure when doing the forward motion on the row. It works legs and some core too.
Also, consider upper body workouts with free weights, or stationary bike (slowly so you do not need straps), pilates (as mentioned by the poster before) or yoga.0 -
Thank you for the suggestions . Rowing a good idea just would not be able to get a trainer on my foot . Upper body stuff good too , will look up my gyms time table later and see if they have Pilates classes .
Thanks again : )0 -
