New and Happy

Hi Everyone! I've been using MFP for a few months now and have lurked on the community boards but have never posted until today. I am less than a pound shy of dropping my first 10 lbs and today I woke up feeling fantastic.
I am happy because I feel like I've found my "magic workout". I've been doing Turbofire for cardio which I love to no end, and I've been supporting that with the Tracy Anderson Metamorphosis muscular work. At first I was a hater of the Tracy Anderson stuff because she would never sync up with the music and it didn't seem all that engaging. I've stayed with it though and am currently on Level 4 of the series. Now more than ever, the morning after I workout I feel so strong and connected to my body.
I feel as though I've had a fitness breakthrough and finally feel empowered. Coupled with this is the recent revelation that it is really about the food (dangit!!!). I've started to cook more for myself and eat more whole foods, trying to be as clean as I can. The difference is amazing.
Anyway, that is me, fitness-wise anyway! I have been inspired by all of your success stories and hard work and am happy to be here! Cheers!

I've been thinking of doing that. But Jillian kicked my butt. I did the 30 day shred for one day. I was hurting so bad the next day. but that was before i started walking on my treadmill and I weigh less now.0

Cool, I will check out Jillian's workout in the future, workoutchick. I am trying to be cardio-lady mostly at first and then shred later on.0
