hi all! my name is Jill.I'm 41 years old and a single mother to a 7 year old autistic daughter.I decided to join myfitnesspal because I have gained 60 lbs.in the last 3 years! CRAZY HUH? yup-went from 140 to 198.I've been going to Curves for women since the end of April,and 2 weeks ago bought an elliptical trainer that I have worked my way up to 25 minutes 2x a day.So far I have lost 12 lbs,but I have a LONG way 2 go! :) For some reason this scale has not moved in 2 weeks( just when I startyed using the elliptical) I gotta say I'm getting a little ( K A LOT!) fustrated.I don't wanna stop using it because I got a rhythm going with that n Curves n if I slow down even,it'll just throw me all off ya know? Nor do I want to add more calories to my diet because as with the excercising,I got aroutine,system,whatever down n If I change now,I'm scared I'll go backwards.Anyone else going thru this? I know about plateaus,but I didn't think it would happn so soon.Any advice,tips etc. would be appreciated.Oh yeah,I drink about a gallon of water a day also.Thanksall! looking forward to talkin to everyone.I'm in Maryland by the way
