Sodium!

I'm just curious if anyone here is concerned with sodium intake. Ideally we should have around 2,000mg of sodium daily and I'm quite sure I'm over consistently--even though I try to watch it VERY carefully and I never add salt to anything.
However, sometimes I read the boards and see some of the things people are eating and I'm a little surprised. One example is the amount of processed lunch meats, turkey pepperoni, etc. that contains TONS of sodium. Turkey pepperoni has 557mg of sodium. I noticed someone talking about Amy's veggie lasagna so I went to Whole Foods and checked it out...its has 720mg of sodium.
Am I over-concerned about sodium intake?
